Most scams follow the same pattern: someone rushes you, refuses a middleman, or asks you to pay first. Don’t.
Before you trade
- Check the other person’s post history and join date. A new account with no posts is a risk.
- Ask for proof of the item (screenshot with their username visible and the date).
- Agree on the exact item, price and payment method in the thread, not only in DMs.
Middlemen
A middleman holds the item or payment until both sides deliver. For anything you’d be upset to lose, use one. Only use staff or people with a long, visible trade history here. Anyone who insists on skipping a middleman is telling you something.
If you get scammed
Message a staff member with: both usernames, screenshots of the agreement, and proof of what you sent. We ban confirmed scammers and mark the report. Don’t post public accusations - they get locked and slow the process down.
Not allowed here: selling Roblox accounts, selling stolen or exploited items, real-money-for-Robux “deals” that break Roblox’s rules.
